Healing is a Partnership
Charles Wildervanck qualified as a medical doctor from the University of Pretoria. This was followed by many years of experience in various hospitals, including a period as superintendent of the Port Elizabeth Provincial Hospital. A profound healing experience with his son in 1998 led him to explore a holistic approach to medicine, especially with regards to chronic conditions. Treatment interventions are mostly aimed at enhancing the body’s immune system, as part of an integrated approach to wellness and the principle of taking responsibility for one’s own health. In 2001 Charles and Jean established the Integrative Health Centre in Port Elizabeth.
When not assisting at the practice Jean Mathews Wildervanck facilitates training workshops for the NMMU Business School. Her key areas of focus are Emotional and Spiritual Intelligence, Leadership, Team Building and Change Management. She has written numerous training manuals and has worked as far afield as Vietnam and Ethiopia. Jean is passionate about co-creating spaces that support personal growth.
